God heals. Sometimes we forget that, well I, at least do. We bluff it over with this is what God wants for me. He wants me to be a testament to what you can do while you suffer chronic, physical or mental pain. Everything is for Gods glory. I know that to be one hundred percent true. Whether he heals or not, I know my God wants only good things for his children. He longs to bless. Yes, when you are living with pain you are a testament. I salute those of you who have trouble getting out of bed because of the mental war inside your head, and also those who struggle to walk up those stairs because of a burning pain in your back. You are a hero. I also know hope to be true. A light that is placed within your heart that I hope it never dwindles, and it is that hope which makes me say today God wants to heal you. He wants you to live the fullest life possible, showing his glory and being his servant. Sometimes we find ourselves in “sticky” situations but I tell you now whether God heals you or not there is nothing NOTHING in this world you can’t do with him.
James 5 v 13-18 13 Anyone who is having troubles should pray. Anyone who is happy should sing praises. 14 Anyone who is sick should call the church’s elders. They should pray for and pour oil on the person in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer that is said with faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will heal that person. And if the person has sinned, the sins will be forgiven. 16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so God can heal you. When a believing person prays, great things happen. 17 Elijah was a human being just like us. He prayed that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years! 18 Then Elijah prayed again, and the rain came down from the sky, and the land produced crops again.
The lord is beautiful, in all his mysterious ways he will use exactly what you’ve got no matter what, there is a beautiful poem and it goes like this
When the “storms of life” gather darkly ahead,
I think of these wonderful words I once read
And I say to myself as “threatening clouds” hover
Don’t “fold up your wings” and “run for cover”
But like the eagle “spread wide your wings”
and “soar far above” the trouble life brings,
For the eagle knows that the higher he flies
The more tranquil and brighter become the skies…
And there is nothing in life God ever asks us to bear
That we can’t soar above “On the Wings of Prayer,”
And in looking back over the “storm you passed through”
You’ll find you gained strength and new courage, too,
For in facing “life’s storms” with an eagle’s wings
You can fly far above earth’s small, petty things.”
For when you look at his face the things of this world glow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace.
All my love x
