16 “God is gently calling you from the jaws of trouble
to an open place of freedom
where he has set your table full of the best food.
I think sometimes when God calls us into a place of freedom, we forget about it? We huddle up into a tiny ball and say we are not worthy or that we can’t accept it. Sure we should be ashamed, sad and hurt, right? Well I don’t think so, not exactly. God gently calls you, what I love about him is he never rushes you and always prepares you, even if it doesn’t feel like it. When you look back you can see the abundant blessings that came out of a troubled situation and although sometimes I am really slow, and it takes me a year to discover it, I know he loves me, and pours blessings over me.
The promise of his presence never ever ends, when we truly look into his eyes and really stare, everything else is washed away. If we continually step into his presence the anger and pain of the past can fall away maybe slowly at first but it will leave. He is here for us. He is the greatest comforter, the best friend, or parent. He never leaves and he never gets bored by our problems. He carries them and he asks us to hand them over to him.
Give your worries to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will never let good people down.– Psalm 55 v 22
God is bringing you into a spacious place of freedom, to give you free will to do what you want to, honour him in that, and glorify his name.
